NEXT WALK - Bannau Sir Gaer - Saturday, March 2nd

In a change to the walk schedule, we'll be running a walk in the Beacons this weekend. The Peak District trip has been cancelled for now, due to lack of drivers and accommodation issues. If anyone has a car and is willing to drive in future then please let the committee know. We may run this weekend after easter, if possible. However, our alternative is one of the best walks the club offers, following an amazing ridge in the middle of the Brecon Beacons. There are numerious sinkholes to play in and hide as well. The area is made famous by Dan-yr-Ogof (the national showcaves of Wales) which is underneath.

Last Hike's Recap

Unfortunately, due to a mixup by Sport Swansea, no bus turned up on Sunday. Apologies for all those who were looking forward to the Port-Eynon to Rhossili Hike. At an alternative, the club ran a free walk around Clyne.

For more information, please checkout our website here or our facebook page here.

Pickups for day hikes are: 9am Uplands (outside Sainsburys), 9:05am Student Village (at the bus stop on the main road, opposite Carvery) and 9:15am outside Fulton House. Please remember to bring the hiking basics of food, drink, waterproof jacket, warm layers etc on all day hikes. We aim to return to Swansea by 7-8pm.

We have walk sign-ups every Wednesday and Friday 12:30-1:30pm on the Coffee side of JCs. Come along and join us, they're also perfect for mini-socials!
