You can Join the Club or Sign Up for Sunday walks in JC's (quiet side) every Wednesday and Friday between 12:30 & 1:30pm.

Welcome Back!
Hello everyone,
Hope you all enjoyed the Easter break. Welcome back to this last but packed term in the hiking club. We have a lot to come including our last three walks:
- St Davids - Sunday 26th April
- Rhossili -> Swansea (Sponsored Walk) - Saturday 2nd May
- Ystradfellte Waterfall Walk - Sunday 10th May
Upcoming socials include the A-Z of Wind Street pub crawl, some more pool and snooker in Whitez, and the legendary Orientbeering! As well as those there is possible Paintballing, BBQ on the beach, and an end of year meal. Check out social calender for more details and keep reading your emails!
If you want to come on the Sponsored Walk you don’t need to sign up in advance (we will be travelling by Gower bus) but it will help if you can get sponsors :P. Collect a sponsorship form at sign up or download one from our website. We are raising money for Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue.
Sponsored Walk 2nd May
The Rhossili -> Swansea Sponsored Walk has been moved to Saturday 2nd May. We will be raising money for Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation (see here for their website). We hope as many of you as possible will join us on this fantastic 24 mile hike or sponsor those who are. You can download a Sponsorship form here. You can also collect a form at sign up. Good luck!

Our next walk will be
Rhossili -> Swansea (Sponsored Walk)
Saturday 2nd May
Grade: C,2; Cost: £5 (approx)
This is one of the best and certainly longer walks of the year, a walk along the entire South Gower coastline! We will be walking past Rhossili bay, Port Eynon, Oxwich, Three Cliffs, Pwll Du, Caswell, Langland, Mumbles and finally Swansea where we intend to go to Pub on the Pond and have a well deserved meal.
To get there we will be catching the 118 Gower Bus to Port Eynon & Rhossili. If you haven't got the bus times contact us. We should arrive in Rhossili about 8.48am, so we'll probably reach Swansea by 7-8pm or earlier.
This is a fantastic walk and great opportunity to see all the Gower in one day! Check out our gallery for photos from previous years.

Orientbeering!
Wednesday 6th May
Meet: At sign up or from 2.30pm outside Student Village Cost: £2
Orientbeering is the social that involves using a map and clues to find treasure, such as beer! In pairs or teams you will wander through Clyne woods collecting the beer (or cider and other goodies) with the intention of being as quick as you can.
There will be a prize for the quickest! After everyone has finished we will probably have a drink in The Woodman (since its nearby) then head back to Uni and decide what to do from there.
You will need to sign up for this social so we can buy enough things, sign up this Friday or email us but you must let us know by the end of the week.
